Performance

Coaching built on your data, not a template.

Not an off-the-shelf programme, and not another tracking app you check alone. Your wearables feed a live dashboard, a real coach reads it every week, and your plan changes when your data says it should.

The plan is built for your body and your life. Not somebody else's.

Beginners through to competitive athletes. Same standard either way.

Live dashboard: weekly session goals with progress bars, workout energy synced from Polar, training load chart and quick session logging

Every app you track in, one screen

Built for you, watched by a coach

Your goals, your training history, your gear and your week set the plan. Then real data keeps it honest.

A live dashboard, not spreadsheets

Training load, nutrition and body composition in one place, fed automatically by your Polar and smart scale. Nothing to export, nothing to screenshot. Recovery, HRV and sleep you enter each morning, or on Elite we capture it for you from your Polar or your Morpheus strap instead.

Real coaches read your data

Your live numbers are reviewed by the people who built the service: a Certificate III & IV Fitness qualified engineer who trains, and a degree-qualified, CREF-credentialed athlete. Our AI layer does the daily number-crunching and flags what matters. The coaching call is always human.

Plans that actually adjust

Check in weekly on Performance, and after every session on Elite, sooner still if your recovery data says so. When life changes, the plan changes with it.

From sign-up to live data in five steps

You don't need to be technical. The setup is guided end to end.

1

Choose your plan

Performance or Elite. Prices are per week and that's how you're charged: weekly, never a lump sum. Commit to nothing, six months or twelve, and the longer you commit the lower the weekly rate. Your subscription keeps running until you cancel.

2

Complete the intake form

Your history, your goals, your training week, any injuries, and the gear you already own. This is what your plan gets built from, so the more honest, the better.

3

Connect your devices

We walk you through linking your wearables: heart rate, and the smart scale if you have one. From then on that data flows in by itself, every day. Your morning recovery reading takes a few seconds to enter. On Elite we capture it for you instead, from your Polar watch or your own Morpheus strap and account, so there's nothing to do at all.

4

Your dashboard goes live

Your personal dashboard is built around your targets and switched on, with your training programme and nutrition guidance shaped by what you told us and what your data shows.

5

Check in, and the plan adjusts

On Performance and Elite your coach reviews your data every week and writes your feedback. On Elite you also get a written review of each session the same day it happens. Either way, targets get adjusted off what actually happened. You train, the data does the reporting.

The problem was never you

Most people don't stop training because they're lazy. They stop because the path was crooked from the start.

A random YouTube video. A programme lifted off Instagram. A watch full of numbers nobody ever looks at. No progression, no structure, and nothing holding the plan together when your week falls apart.

NxsTech Performance was built to fix exactly that. Your data flows in by itself, a coach reads it every week, and every session already knows what the next one is. You train, and the plan holds.

Why there's no chat button

Every AI answer you have ever read ended the same way. Check this. It can make mistakes. Verify anything important.

That sentence is the entire reason this service costs what it costs. The checking is the product.

We use AI, and we will always tell you where. It reads your training load, your sleep, your HRV, your food log and your body composition every day, and it finds the things worth looking at. It is very good at that, and it never gets tired on a Sunday night. What it does not do is decide anything about you. A person does that, and puts their name on it.

There is a reason you cannot open a chat window here and ask what to do about your knee.

A chat model has read the internet. It has not read you. It does not know that your sleep collapsed three weeks ago, that you have added four kilos of load since then, or that this is the second time this year the same thing has happened in the same month. It will give you an answer in one second, and it will be the average of everything ever written about knees. Free tools do this well and we would not try to compete with them, because there is nothing to compete with. They are free.

Think about how you use a specialist. You do not text them at 11pm and expect an answer before midnight. You book, they read your file properly, and then they tell you what they think. The value is in the reading, not the speed. Nobody wants a surgeon who answers instantly.

That is how this works. Your data arrives automatically. It gets analysed. A coach reads the analysis, decides what it means for you specifically, and writes back. Weekly on Performance, daily on Elite. Considered, not instant, and answerable to a name.

Who is accountable. Our coaches hold professional qualifications (see details below). They are fitness qualifications, not medical ones, and we are careful about that line: we review blood work you have already had done, we do not order it, and nothing here replaces your doctor. Within the thing we are actually qualified to do, a named person makes every call and can be asked to justify it.

What it costs, and why it cannot cost less. A one-hour personal training session in Australia can cost $130 or more. Performance costs less than a single session, per month, and buys you a programme built around your goals, weekly written feedback on your real numbers, nutrition adjusted as you go, and a coach who has actually looked. The limit is not software. It is how many people two humans can read properly in a week, which is why the places are capped and why the number is small.

This probably isn't for you if:

You want an answer in ten seconds. Ours take a day, sometimes a week, because someone is reading your file first.

You want the cheapest option. There isn't one. There are two plans and both of them buy coach time.

You want to be told you're doing great. You'll be told what the data says, which is sometimes that and sometimes not.

You don't want to log anything. The service is built on your real numbers. Without them we are guessing, and guessing is what you are paying us not to do.

None of that is a criticism. There are good free apps that do the fast, cheap, automated version very well, and if that is what you want you should use one.

Choose your plan

Two plans, one standard. Pick how much coaching you want around your data. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.

There is no starter plan. Performance and Elite both buy coach time, and coach time is the thing that costs. Bridge is the third card, and you can't join on it: it's where members go when they need to stop for a while.

Code applied. Your code's price holds for as long as your subscription lasts. This is not a first-payment discount: renewal comes at the same price. Remove code

Founding rates, first come first served. 20 founding places on Performance, 5 on Elite. When a tier's places are gone that tier moves to its standard rate. If you're already in, your rate doesn't move for as long as you stay.

Picking a plan doesn't charge you anything. It starts a conversation. You tell us what you're chasing, we talk it through, and nothing is set up or paid for until we both agree the plan is right for you.

The rate you join at is the rate you keep. Coaching places are limited and pricing rises as the roster fills. Your price doesn't go up while you stay subscribed.

Seven days to change your mind, free. Cancel within seven days of signing up and you pay nothing, on any tier and any commitment. That's in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Everything is charged weekly. There is no upfront lump sum on any plan. A six or twelve month commitment buys you a lower weekly rate; it does not mean paying for the period in advance.

On the no-commitment plan, cancel whenever you like. No notice period, no exit fee, no last month to pay. You stop, the billing stops at the end of the week you have already paid for, and that's the end of it. "No commitment" ought to mean what it says.

Leaving a 6 or 12 month commitment early costs you the discount, and nothing more. You took a lower weekly rate in exchange for committing, so if the commitment ends early you repay the difference between what you paid and the no-commitment rate for the weeks you were with us. That's it. No penalty on top, no percentage of the remaining term, no fee invented to make leaving hurt. Leave on the no-commitment rate and there's nothing to repay at all, because there was no discount.

What that looks like. On Performance at the 6-month rate you pay $22.49 a week instead of $24.99, a $2.50 saving. Ten weeks in, if you leave, you repay $25.00. Nothing else.

All prices in Australian dollars (AUD), inclusive of GST.

The engineer and the athlete

NxsTech Performance comes out of NxsTech, an Australian engineering practice, co-founded by two people who train. One builds the data side. One has lived the coaching side her whole life.

Justin Kerkman

Co-founder · Engineering & Coaching

A senior control systems engineer: University of Adelaide trained, trade-qualified, with years spent building industrial automation. He's also a lifelong athlete across wildly different disciplines: state junior golf champion, NABBA Open Class winner as a bodybuilder, Muay Thai now. He got tired of coaching that ran on guesswork and screenshots.

So he built the thing he wanted for himself: every metric that matters, in one live dashboard, watched weekly by someone who knows what the numbers mean. The engineering runs the data. The coaching decisions stay human, backed by Certificates III and IV in Fitness.

Certificates III & IV in Fitness (Australia) NABBA SA Open Class 1 winner SA under-age golf champion, 1992 Muay Thai athlete Senior Control Systems Engineer

Carla Vieira

Co-founder · Athlete & Education

A lifetime athlete who has trained and competed her whole life, and knows from the inside what a plan has to survive: real schedules, real setbacks, real bodies.

Born in São Paulo and living in Australia since 2008. Degree-qualified in physical education and teaching since 2004 (Uni-FMU, São Paulo, Brazil), and credentialed with CREF, Brazil's national register of physical education professionals. Twenty years of it shape how the coaching lands: what gets asked at intake, how feedback reads, and why the plan bends to your life instead of breaking against it.

This is where your plan lives

Real screens from the live system, running on real training data. This is the same platform every client gets.

Dashboard: weekly session goals with progress bars, workout energy synced from Polar, training load chart and quick session logging
Your week on one screen: session goals, training load auto-synced from your watch, and one-tap logging for anything it can't see.
Recovery: daily recovery score, HRV, resting heart rate and sleep, with 30-day trend charts
Recovery score, HRV, resting heart rate and sleep, charted against 30-day trends. You enter the morning reading on Performance; on Elite we capture it for you from your Polar or Morpheus.
Training: every workout with duration, energy, average and max heart rate, training load and heart rate zone distribution
Every session with heart rate, load and zone split. No manual entry, no screenshots to send.
Meal plan: heavy, moderate and easy day options with calorie and macro targets, broken down meal by meal
Your plan changes with the day: heavy, moderate or easy, each with its own targets and meals.
This week: total volume, sessions against targets, estimated net calories and a day-by-day breakdown
Where the week actually landed against what was planned, day by day.
Weekly check-in: training summary auto-synced from Polar, calories in and out for the week, and the weigh-in entry
The check-in your coach reads before writing your feedback: training, energy balance and your weigh-in, all in one place. Weekly on Performance and Elite. Elite adds a written review after each individual session on top.

What daily oversight actually looks like

Elite is the tier where the system stops reporting and starts telling you what to do about it. Three features carry that, and none of them is standard below this tier.

Session review: the headline finding from a single training session, the session metrics, the heart rate zone split, and a section in which the coach explains which comparison he deliberately left out and why
Every session, written up the same day. Coach Liam, our AI, reads the file your watch produced and writes this. A human coach reads it before it's sent, and nothing reaches you that one of us hasn't checked. What you get isn't a stat dump: it finds the one thing in the session that actually matters, and it will tell you when a number would mislead you and it's leaving that number out. This is a real review sent to a real athlete, with only the details that would identify them removed.
Daily Brief: the training week written out day by day, each with the session, what was completed, and the recovery reading behind the decision
Your day, written for you every morning by Nexus. Not a number to interpret: the session, whether to push or hold, and the reason. Yesterday's recovery score, HRV and sleep sit underneath every call, so you can see the reasoning rather than take it on faith. Your coach reviews it before it reaches you.
Workout energy panel showing today's and the week's calories, active days, and a calculated acute to chronic workload ratio of 1.26 alongside a week of session loads
ACWR, the number that tells you when you're about to overreach. Your acute-to-chronic workload ratio, calculated from 15 and 28 days of real session load. It's the measure sports science uses to flag when recent training has outrun what your body is conditioned for, and it's why a rest day on Elite is a decision rather than a guess.

The questions everyone asks first

Straight answers, including the ones that might talk you out of it.

Can I just message the AI directly?

No, and it's worth saying why rather than just no. The AI does the analysis and a coach makes the call. If you were talking straight to a model with no human in the loop, you'd be paying us for something you can get free elsewhere, and you'd be getting advice from something that has read the internet rather than your last twelve weeks.

Why isn't there instant chat?

Because an instant answer is an unread answer. Your coach looks at your actual data before replying. That takes longer than a second and it's the whole point.

Think about how you use a specialist. You don't text them at 11pm expecting an answer before midnight. You book, they read your file properly, then they tell you what they think. The value is in the reading.

How fast do I get a reply?

Performance is a weekly written check-in. Elite adds a daily brief, a written review of every session on the same day, and priority response between check-ins.

If something is urgent and medical, that's your doctor, not us. We'll say so rather than have you wait on us.

How much of this is AI?

The analysis, the daily number-crunching, the flagging of anything that has moved, and the first draft of your session reviews. A human reads everything before it reaches you and is accountable for it.

Where something is AI-generated we say so, rather than passing it off as one of us. Every AI answer you've ever read ended by telling you to check it. The checking is what you're paying for here.

What are your qualifications?

Justin holds Certificates III and IV in Fitness. Carla is degree-qualified in physical education (Uni-FMU, São Paulo) and CREF-credentialed, Brazil's national register for the profession, with twenty years in it.

These are fitness qualifications. We're not doctors or dietitians, we don't diagnose or prescribe, and we'll tell you when something belongs with your GP. We review blood work you've already had done. We don't order it.

Why is it more expensive than a fitness app?

Because an app is software and this is people. The software is ours and it does a great deal of the work, but the thing you're paying for is a qualified human reading your numbers every week and being answerable for what they tell you.

A one-hour personal training session in Australia can cost $130 or more. Performance costs less than a single session, per month. That has a real cost per client, which is why the roster is capped and the number is small.

I've never tracked anything before. Is this for me?

Yes. The intake form asks your history precisely so your plan starts where you are. Someone who's never trained doesn't get the same programme as someone ten years in, and that's the whole point of building rather than templating.

The dashboard does the technical work. Your job is to train and answer honestly at check-in.

Which watches and devices do you work with?

Polar and Withings connect directly. You authorise us once and your training and body-composition data flows in on its own from then on. These are the two we have full API access to, and they're the smoothest experience by a distance.

Garmin is the honest exception. Garmin have paused new developer access to their health API and haven't said when it reopens, so we can't connect to it no matter how much we'd like to. Garmin users send us a screenshot from the Garmin app and we bring the numbers in at our end. It works, our first sponsored athlete runs this way, but it's a manual step and we'd rather tell you that now than have you find out.

Apple Watch and Samsung come in through a small export app you install on your phone, which forwards your health data to your dashboard automatically once it's set up. The app is Health Auto Export, and automatic daily sending needs its paid version. A few dollars, bought from the App Store, not from us and not marked up by us. We'd rather name the cost here than have you discover it during setup. We're building our own app to remove that dependency; it isn't ready, it will need Apple's approval before it reaches anyone's phone, and we're not putting a date on it.

The extra step is deliberate, and it's Apple's and Samsung's design rather than ours. Neither will hand a company like us a pipe into your health data, and that's the right call, so the app sits on your phone, under your control, and you choose exactly which measurements are sent. Send heart rate and sleep but not location. Send steps but not workouts. Whatever you're comfortable with.

You can change your mind whenever you like, and switching it off is one toggle on your own phone. You don't have to ask us, tell us, or cancel anything. The data stops arriving and your dashboard keeps everything else working. We'd rather you had that switch than not.

Recovery, HRV and sleep is its own thing. Polar can supply it. Otherwise it comes from Morpheus, which needs their M7 strap and their subscription, bought separately and not included here, because that data only comes off their own hardware. We're building our own recovery app to remove that dependency; it isn't ready, and it will need Apple's approval before it reaches anyone's phone, so we're not putting a date on it.

This list grows. Connecting new devices is active work here, not a someday plan. It's what the engineering side of NxsTech does, and this answer gets updated as each one lands. If your device isn't here yet, it's likely on the bench.

Not sure what you've got? Tell us at the lead form and we'll say plainly what will and won't work today, and what's close.

Is it an app?

No, and that's deliberate. Your dashboard is a private web page that lives at its own address, secured behind your own login. You open it in the browser you already use, then add it to your home screen or dock, where it sits and behaves exactly like an app: its own icon, opens full screen, one tap.

Nothing to install, nothing to update, and nothing sitting on your phone with access to the rest of it. You aren't handing your health data to an app store or a third-party developer, and there's no way for it to quietly read your contacts, photos or location in the background. It shows you what you put in and what your wearables send, and that's all it can reach.

It also means the moment we improve something, it's already there next time you open it. No waiting on an app update, no version stuck on an old phone. Works the same on a phone, tablet or laptop.

What devices do I need?

None to start. You can log everything by hand and still get a real plan and real coaching.

If you already own something, bring it. We'll tell you what connects, set it up with you, and be straight about what it does and doesn't measure well.

And if you want to add a device, we'll tell you which one actually serves the goal you've set, and just as often that you don't need one yet. Wearables make the picture sharper and save you the logging. They've never been the price of entry.

I train at home, or my gym is basic. Does it still work?

Yes. The intake form asks where you train and what you've got, and the programme is built for that space. If your setup changes later, tell your coach and the plan follows you.

I have an injury or a health condition. Can I join?

Tell us everything on the intake form: injuries, surgeries, pain that shows up, ongoing medication. Your plan is built around it, and flagged items get checked before anything is programmed.

This is coaching, not healthcare. It doesn't replace your doctor or physio, and if you're in treatment, talk to them before starting.

How long until my dashboard is live?

Once your intake form is complete and your devices are connected, your dashboard and plan are typically live within a few business days. You'll see the exact date for your case during onboarding.

Who actually reads my data?

Two humans and an AI, and we'll always tell you which is which.

Justin and Carla are your human coaches. They set your plan, make the judgement calls, and sign off anything that changes what you do.

Behind them sits our AI layer. Coach Liam reads your numbers every day, spots the patterns a weekly glance would miss, and puts what matters in front of your human coach. A second AI coach, Lisa, is on the way. Nexus, our AI engineer, builds and runs the pipelines that pull your data in and keep it straight.

The line we hold: AI does the watching, humans do the deciding. Anything that reaches you as coaching has had a human read it first, and when something is AI-generated we say so rather than passing it off as one of us.

How do I cancel?

Message your coach, or email performance@nxstech.net. No phone call, no retention pitch, no convincing anyone. We'll confirm the date back to you in writing and you'll see it on your dashboard.

Inside seven days: free. You pay nothing and that's the end of it.

After seven days, on the no-commitment plan: nothing to it. No notice period, no exit fee. Billing stops at the end of the week you have already paid for and your dashboard stays with you until then.

If you're on a 6 or 12 month commitment: you repay the discount you've had. You took a lower weekly rate in exchange for committing, so if the commitment ends early you pay back the difference between your rate and the no-commitment rate, for the weeks you were with us. Nothing on top of that. No penalty, no share of the remaining term. Ten weeks into Performance at the 6-month rate, that's $25.00.

I changed my mind. Is there a refund?

Yes, inside seven days. Cancel in that window and you pay nothing at all, on any tier and any commitment.

Past seven days there's no refund for change of mind, because you've had the coaching for the weeks you paid for. But there's nothing to stop you leaving: on the no-commitment plan you just cancel, and on a 6 or 12 month commitment you repay the discount you've received and nothing more.

None of this limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

I signed up with a code. Does that price last?

Yes. The price your code gives you holds for as long as your subscription lasts. It's not a first-payment discount: your renewal comes through at the same price, this month and every month, while you stay subscribed.

What if I need to stop for a while? Injury, surgery, holiday, life.

Yes, and it has its own name: Bridge. It's for members only, it isn't sold to anyone joining, and it exists because the usual answer in this industry is to cancel, lose your history, and start again from nothing in six months.

Life interrupts. A holiday, a surgery, a new baby, a stretch at work that eats everything, a month where money is tight. On Bridge your dashboard stays live and your history stays intact. You keep logging whatever is realistic, which some months is everything and some months is just your weight. Once a month a coach checks in on where you actually are, and your targets follow that rather than a goal you're not currently chasing.

The point is what happens when you come back. We know what your body did while you were away, so you restart from where you are, not from scratch. Coming back from two weeks in Bali and coming back from a knee reconstruction are not the same return, and they shouldn't get the same plan. For a surgery we'll want the procedure and date, what stage of the protocol you're at, and what your physio has cleared you for, because that's what your first fortnight back gets built from.

Your rate is held while you're on Bridge, and your commitment pauses with you. Weeks on Bridge don't count toward a 6 or 12 month term, so the end date moves out rather than running down while you're away.

Two-week minimum, so it isn't worth the paperwork for a long weekend. No maximum, because a knee reconstruction is a year. Talk to your coach and we'll set it up.

I've got a race, comp or event coming up. Can I move up to Elite for it and drop back after?

Yes. This is one of the best reasons to use us, and we've built for it deliberately. A race build, a fight camp, a comp prep or a wedding is exactly when daily oversight earns its money, and exactly when paying for it year-round doesn't.

Tell your coach the date. We'll move you up for the block leading into it, run you at that level through the event, then step you back down to where you were. No penalty for going up, no penalty for coming back, and no restart of anything. Your history, your targets and your dashboard carry straight through.

If none of the three tiers is the right shape for what you're building towards, we'll put a custom package together for the block instead. Say what the event is and when it is, and we'll price it around that.

This isn't the same as pausing, which we don't do. You're stepping between levels of coaching, not switching it off.

Can I change tiers later?

Yes, in either direction, and as often as your training genuinely calls for it. Tier changes are done with your coach directly rather than a button, because moving tiers changes both your coaching and your billing, and the two need to move together.

I'm a coach. Is there a coach's panel?

Not yet, and it's genuinely next. The coach view already exists and it's what we run our own roster from every day: every client on one screen, their targets, their modules, their data, what needs attention. It isn't a mockup. What we haven't built is opening it up so another coach can bring their own clients into it.

That's the plan, and it's the part of this Justin actually cares about. He built this because coaching he'd paid for ran on guesswork and screenshots, and the fix shouldn't only work for our clients. A coach who wants their athletes' recovery, load and nutrition in one place, with the number-crunching already done, should be able to have that without building it themselves.

If that's you, say so on the enquiry form and tell us how many athletes you work with and what you're using now. We'd rather build it around a handful of real coaches than guess. The ones who tell us early get first access and a say in what it does.
