‹ All the ways we can help

Anyone can tell you to train harder. Almost nobody reads what happened.

You already train. You already have a watch full of numbers. What you probably do not have is somebody going through those numbers session by session and telling you what they actually mean, in writing, while the session is still fresh.

That is the whole product. Here is one, in full, so you can judge it rather than take our word for it.

Who this is

Simon runs ultras. We coach him.

Simon Pearce running
Simon PearceTrail and road. In August 2026, at 60, he finished the Federation Ultra Trail, a 56 km trail race. He is now training for City-Bay.

Simon is a real client with a real plan, and the documents further down this page are the real ones he was sent. Not a sample written for a website, not a template with the names swapped out.

He trains on his own, most mornings, on the same flat coastal ground. The value he gets is not motivation. It is somebody reading the file.

Disclosure: Simon is a sponsored NxsTech Performance athlete. We support him and he lets us publish his training. He has given written permission for his name, photograph and training data to be used here, and he can have any of it taken down at any time without giving a reason.

The actual document

What lands in his inbox the same day

This is page one of a real session review, sent on 27 August 2026, about a run he did that morning. Nothing has been staged for this page.

Read the top box. His heart rate had been reading high for weeks and the obvious conclusion was that he was unfit or overreaching. He was neither. He had the watch in the wrong place on his wrist. Moving it changed the readings so much that the previous fortnight of training had to be reinterpreted.

"Ran to feel at consistent average pace around 6.45/km which is normal very easy pace for me. I didn't feel I had to keep pulling myself back to keep HR down, so appears Garmin may have been the issue all along."

Simon's own note in the session, quoted in the review

That is the difference between a dashboard and a coach. A dashboard would have kept showing a rising heart rate and letting him draw the wrong conclusion from it. Somebody had to notice that the data was wrong before the training could be judged.

Note as well what the document does when we get something wrong. The race week review sent earlier that month says in terms that two things were off and both were the coach's to fix, including an instruction that was incomplete. That goes in the client's document, not just in an internal note.

What that level buys

Every session, not just every week

Performance gets you a weekly review. What Simon is on adds the session-by-session layer, which only earns its money if you are training often enough for individual sessions to matter.

A written review of every sessionEmailed the same day, drafted by Coach Liam and read by a human coach before it is sent.

A daily briefThe plan for the week and the focus for today, so you are not guessing on the start line of your own Tuesday.

Uploads straight to your coachScreenshots, race files, photos of a course profile. Anything you want looked at.

Load read against recoveryTraining load tracked next to HRV, resting heart rate and sleep, so a hard block gets called early rather than after it breaks.

Direct access between check-insYou do not have to hold a question until Sunday night.

Quarterly review of your blood workResults you have arranged yourself through your own GP. We do not order pathology and we do not diagnose anything.

Bring your race

Tell us the event, the date, what you have run before and what is currently going wrong. We will tell you honestly whether it is enough time, and whether you need the top level or not.

We do not promise a time, a place or a result. Nobody honest does. We promise that somebody reads every session.
